Puerto Varas, Chile

In the beautiful little town of Puerto Varas is to walk: the best way to admire the views of the volcano Osorno and the wooden colonial homes built by German immigrants in the early XX century. Some of them are given the status of a national monument. This peaceful village on the shores of Lake Llanquihue (second largest lake in Chile) is the exact opposite metropolis of Puerto Montt in Los Lagos Region ("Lake District" Chile). Puerto Varas will be an excellent base for those who love to fish on a fly, rafting rafting, horseback riding and do go sea kayaking.
