Nikko, Japan

Shrines and temples of Nikko, on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Here you can visit the sanctuary Tosegu, built in the XVII century and is a monument and mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu at the same time, the founder of the shogunate ruled Japan for 250 years. Travelers who come here for the whole day from Tokyo, usually visit the sacred places; however, if you have too much time there, you can also admire the wonderful waterfalls and lakes.
